Just a heads up for anyone this might interest...

I always lurk ebay for anything Falcons related to get posted, since there really is no Falcons store to patronize. Some good finds, but mostly junk or overpriced stuff.

Anyway, apparently Roddy's great week has seen someone try to strike while the iron is hot, and they are selling an Official NFL Auction Roddy White Signed Football, with PSA NFL Certificate and all.

I monitor the NFL Auction site (the Game-worn shirts from the SF game that went for thousands brought tears to my eyes that I did not have that kind of "disposable" scratch), and the balls Roddy signed for them (been about 1 a month for a few months) have been going for around $200+, so this is a great deal for official shit. I got a signature when my kids and I went to the Preseason game, so it's not for me... but I felt passing the info along would be the right thing to do.

If anyone sees anything interesting Falcons related out there, please pass it along. I love the Fathead deal I got from here, and would really like access to more Falcons stuff in light of the absence of a true Falcons Store option. I really want a good deal on a shower curtain.... Tongue

ive obtained most of ALL my autos in person, if i buy ebay, i know what im buying, most of the time its already bee nauthenticated, but if anyone kinda needs and experienced eye to falcons igs, hit me up, id be more than glad to give my .02 .. Its nice that the money goes to charity, so i wont hark on anyone that can spend that, but real autos are out there, for much less... but there are alot of fakes too.. but not as much as ive seen in the past.

True.

However, for those not in Atlanta, getting official stuff is quite a bit more difficult. NFL authenticated (with PSA and DNA) is as legit as it gets... almost more so than in person, haha - so this find was worth pointing out. Stuff this legit barely makes the market. I missed an endzone marker the NFL did in a similar auction long time back and I've been looking for another ever since.... I wish more NFL Auction stuff hit the market.

yeah i feel you, ive got some game worn and pracitce worn gloves, they day i see a used Roddy white signed game used jersey, i may break the bank, lol.

Abe said his fans on twitter could send gear to Flowery Branch and he would auto and send it back. I just asked Roddy if he would do the same. I'm not dropping $80+ on that.

Are we supposed to send stuff with a returned addressed envelope/box/whatever for Abe? He never answered me on twitter. I mean he is doing us a favor, I don't expect him to pay for everyone.

I got a sewn red Roddy jersey signed at training camp. I was super excited. I know u have been a bunch too, whose gloves u got? The best I got was a Bear Woods worn NFL logo wristband.

I want a ball signed by Ryan, White, and Gonzalez. I hope I can make it to training camp next year, but the odds of getting it signed by just those 3? Doubtful.

Yeah, I think your right. I went to 4 training camp practices this year and Tony doesn't sign much/very long. I got lucky at my 4th practice and pulled it off. Keep in mind the practices had 2 sessions each day and I went to both. Plus, if he comes back he likely wont been at training camp too often (at least he hinted it) The lines for Ryan are real long and you miss out on the other guys waiting on him. I have all 3 (on separate stuff) but I got Ryan his rookie year at a 365 store promo. Roddy is awesome, though. At one session it was him and a few guys that didn't make the team and Roddy signed for a long time. Even if you miss out on Tony and Ryan you should be able to score all the starters on both sides of ball. I have a ball signed by all the starters except Ryan and Tony. if you go to a few practices you should be able to add Ryan to it too.
