Off Topic: do we have any control

over the topics in the news feed at the top of the forum? geesh....it says "The Latest Atlanta Falcons Headlines" but some of the stuff we get, geesh!

Ok, I can see stuff about the teams in our division being relevant to a degree, and maybe we might want to read it. but the last two days we've had articles about the broncos. not very good articles either. some gal named Julie Hayes, yahoo contributor wrote yesterday about keith brooking getting signed by the broncos, and how his intensity level would spur the broncos fans to the loudest they've ever been, really? keith brooking? a worn out OLD LB who can't cover is all of a sudden going to stir those fans higher than Elway, Sharpe, T Davis, Bailey, and even TEBOW did???? Ok, so that article was about a former Falcons player, but he hasn't played here in 4 years. so how is that a Falcons headline?

and today we get her drivel on how the bears should give the broncos a good game, and she'll be keeping an eye on the defense....never mind Manning and the neck.....I mean how is that a Falcons Headline?

just wondering if we have any control over what goes up there? i thought the BR crap was bad.....

We play the Broncos early on in an important game (not for the division and all, but to see where we are, and to get national exposure), so I don't mind a couple of Bronco updates. It hasn't been too bad, but if it kept going, I'd question it then.

ok thanks, i should have just realized the powered by lockerpulse was more than just an adverstisement.

sometimes the articles are decent. a lot of times they're repetitive. if i open an article and it says bleacher report, well i just don't bother. the last one i opened and tried to read, it referenced another BR article for back up.....how freaking lame is that, LMAO

oh well, i'll just go back to opening the title that might look good, judging after if i want to read it, and ignoring the rest. thanks y'all

It's not perfect but I find some good articles from it about twice a week.

It's an auto feed and we don't control it. I could set up something newer and more relevant but I'm personally satisfied with it. Plus the really good articles are posted here anyway
