I have been unusually busy the past few months, but in the past 2 or so weeks revisited AFMB and dealt with similar things. Just a whole bunch of nothing and people who are a damn waste spilling noxious garbage.

I think the people who did mention their longevity of fandom (at least, my reason) was in response and directed to Swift saying there were no other real "old" fans here, and his calling everyone out, other than the couple he mentioned.

I personally love all fans who fly our colors. Bandwagoners don't bother bother me at all, as it acknowledges our success, and takes nothing from my enjoyment. I get plenty of props for my long-suffering fandom at the sports bars around here, where my allegiances during tough times have always been respected.

A LONG TIME ago on that Falcons board ..I screamed to high heaven Vick is not a hard working QB he will never be great under this kind of system and effort he puts in..I was called a racist ..I had pms threaten me and guess what it turns out in the long run I was dead on ..

Clearly because you've taken some time off, some folks here have begun to forget some of the insane drama you've purposely caused. Calling you "negative" is an insult to people who are legitimately pessimistic by nature.

That said, this is preseason and we look 100x better than last preseason. The first 2 games we didn't show all our cards and we were evaluating rookies more heavily because of the shortened off-season. In the Pitt game we simply played our 2-minute offense and not a true game plan, which IMO is brilliant. Like we're really going to throw 84 times in a game normally... not.

Our first team offense, while not even utilizing Quizz (a change-of-pace set) and missing McClure for 1 game, has scored 43 points in 5 quarters while our first team defense, minus Robinson for 3 games, Edwards 2 games, and Peters 2 games, has only allowed 27 points (24 of which was against an elite team). And again, all while not actually playing against the opponents actual game-schemes and experimenting with ours and certainly holding a lot back.

Yes, we have a serious issue at NB/CB depth. Yes, our safety pass coverage has sucked balls. Yes, it's irritating we have not had many sacks. Yes our pass protection for Ryan still appears average and we're worried he still won't have enough time to throw. Yes, dropped passes are disturbing. Yes, TG looks slow as hell. Yes, Turner looks the same or possibly slower. Yes, why isn't Quizz getting used with the first team more. Yes, why have we only run 1 screen so far. Yes, why is BVG still running this soft-zone predictible blitz crap. And yes, why is MM still not doing what we want.

All those are legitimate concerns that all of us has. But the thing is, it's freaking preseason and we had far greater concerns at this time last year.

There's still a chance we pick up a good CB to play NB and add depth once the cap casualties hit. And all the other stuff is explained away with the fact it's still just preseason and we haven't come close to playing like we will ultimately be playing in the real season.

After years of being on AFMB I think alot of people are like myself and are just sick of the lack of moderation and the constant agenda trolls.
We've seen it for years with people that are against certain players then we have the Vick75 clone trolls and then we have people like Swift and Daddy's home who are just negative agenda trolls.

If that place was properly moderated this would have never been an issue but a decade of bad moderation and some of us are just sick of the the agenda's.

Most of us are NOT idiots we can see the secondary issues, we know MM can be to conservative, but we don't need these points beaten over our head every two seconds. This is without question the single best 3 year period in the ENTIRE history of the ATL Faclons, no team is perfect no team has pro bowlers at every position. We are coming off a 13-3 season and we did make some bold moves to address our to biggest problems last year #2 WR and pass rush. When Dunta was playing the secondary was NOT our biggest problem until the GB game where Owens was thrown into the fire.

TD is not stupid I'm very confident that if he does not think owens and franks will pan out we will cut C Davis and use his cap money to pick up a vet CB to play NB after other teams make there cuts. But I think it was a good idea to have Franks and owens battle it out all pre season to see what we REALLY had in house. Had Owens and Franks stepped up our team would be pretty much complete so It was actually a good thing Drob missed some pre season games and was probably part of the reason the team held him out.

Swift your an attention seeking agenda troll that is a fact. I hope the mods here eventually come to that conclusion and ban your ass so there is at least one falcons message baord not infected with the agenda troll crap that will never be cleaned up from the AFMB because the mods there are fucking idiots and to lazy to do anything.

Most of us have dealt with the agenda trolls for as long as there has been a Falcons message board on the net, it's fucking old and we are tired of it.

I missed the game, but I as soon as I saw the final score I already knew I wasn't going to be hanging on the AFMB for a couple of days until the whiners vacated.

Why people keep falling for the same 'ol troll okey-doke over there is beyond me. They know they only show up worse after a loss, preseason or no, and they know they're trying to get under a person's skin, yet those fools keep allowing them to do so.
