yea how you count that as drop ..and when did Roddy drop a ball?

when did Turner have a drop to ...the screen wasnt even close to him and the play Ryan throws a ball off a helmet which I have no clue how he did that


and when did Weems number get called outside the roll out to him on 3rd and short and Ryan threw ball way over his head

I dont know why people get so hot and bothered by Swift's comments and criticisms of the team. I think he adds a lot of color and debate to the boards, and makes it not so boring. If everyone agreed on everything I would probably not be here. I dont agree with a lot of what Swift says, but I also dont let it ruin my day. People get upset over things I post all the time, but thats mostly because people take me too seriously when they shouldnt. Its not a big deal to me.

Swift, Roddy dropped one that hit him in the hands, and the announcers even stopped to talk about it for the next two plays. What game were you watching?

I've been a fan longer than you, and am happy to talk truthfully about the team, but there is so much positive to talk about now. Having lived through 3+ decades of fandom, I am enjoying the positives I see, and discussing them. Why live in the past failures... I already lived them once.

Just because we refuse to see the sky falling with every bad play does not make us delusional. Those past 3 winning seasons were real. No team, even the greatest ones, were pro bowlers at every position. It isn't like you can expect it to be that way, and moaning about every position is irrational... like a team having the best at every position is just something you can do, other teams and salary cap be damned.. That's why how the team plays together is so much better than individual stats, and why we have so much promise.

Yes I wish we were better at Nickel and LT, but all things as they are, I can live with the hand we have dealt ourselves.

As for JJ making changes in the offense, you do realize this is preseason, right? Should we just mail Chicago our playbook, or can we try to surprise them, since the game actually counts?

Here's what I don't get Swift why is getting to say I told you so important to you?

I mean isn't that what it all boils down to? As a fan of 20 years I can tell you that no matter what concerns or reservations I had about last year, along with any I had in 1998, 91, 94, 02, 07, or 05 made me fill any better about the outcomes of any of those seasons. Does it make it hurt less to have, "seen it coming?"

You make some valid criticisms granted, but I think what we're all frankly quite tired of, is the throwing of the hands up "Same Old Falcons" rhetoric every time something goes wrong in a game.

I mean the season is still wide open ahead of us. I for one am not inclined to set around with my thumb up my ass waiting for the other shoe to drop.
