KnightofGod, I remember you distinctly joking about the Falcons hiring Kotter over on Talk about the Failure of the Server.
It's not a call out. It's certainly not karma. It's just sad. It's sad that Kotter was such a bottom of the barrel joke and that's who we end up getting. First you hit the Bier, then you hit the John.

RE: Knight of God (and possibly others?) predicted this.
he was up for the Broncos HC job... i don't know if you've ever managed a bunch of retards, i amagine that's what he had to deal with in JAX. MJD is allsum, after that... VERY not so much yes.
he's seriously going from the outhouse to the penthouse in regards to NFL talent. |

As for Kotter, it's apparent that the Falcons organization really only looked hard in two places for an OC: Jacksonville and the toilet. First you hit the Bier, then you hit the John.

Actually I'm beginning to wonder if the opposite is true. To this point I've not been completely clear on who's stamp has been on our offensive philosophy, but I've assumed it was Mularkey. Now I'm not so sure. Next season it will be clear enough to see. We will see first hand what Mularkey wants to do and how it contrasts schematically with the last 4 years, and same here. Maybe Koetter will turn out to be evil genius, but at this point based on body of work I'm not encouraged. |
