Now I know you are just homerizing this guy. Keep making excuses for Koetter if you want to. The guy sucks and you are in serious denial.

I get your against it, but why not let it play out before "Throwing in the towel on this regime"? You saw the Jacksonville game when we played them, Gabbert folded before Abe even got there, you can't be productive with players like that.

Heck no! I've been letting stupidity play out since '07. I'm against it and will be. I hope we do well, I really do, but I'm not investing anything into it. I will sit and hope for a better defensive hire and if we bomb there too I don't know brah. Smith is looking more and more incompetent by the day. I thought he was in '03 and now I'm sure of it.

43 and 21 in the last 4 years... i'm a numbers guy, and also a long time falcon fan, it would take us 9 to 10 years to come up with those number of wins before the mike smith regime.

I'm not investing anything until they win a playoff game but the more I read about this guy the more I like the hire. Other NFL minds seem to like the hire as well. People wanted Brian Billick, because Billick is a name, Billick hasn't been an OC in YEARS and his offense was awful in Baltimore. Why? Because they had no talent. But people were clamoring for him. Or the QB coach with very little NFL experience as an OC... yeah, those hires sound so much freaking better.

Long time fan as well and it doesn't discount stupidity. I would not be surprised if we get handed a losing season with this guy.

What makes you think that MJD is mid tier.

because there are 12 other running backs i'd start over him. he's nice don't get me wrong you don't get 2000 yards without having some sort of talent. him and cutter got the best out of his talents obviously.

So you are not saying that with anything valid. You said you're a stats man. You doubt that he'll still be tops next year then?

he'll probably get hurt early in the season because of all the wear and tear on his small frame.
