Off Topic: HELP !

Can someone explain to me how you send an article from another web page to this message board? I have basic computer skills but I have no idea how to do this. Thanks.

Copy & Paste usually works

Step 1.) Highlight the story you want to show us by dragging the mouse over all the words. Right click on said words and click on Copy.

Step 2.) Click on Reply or new topic and go to the body(here where you type), and right click the mouse again..click Paste.

Alternate method below:

Step 1: follow step 1 from above except click on the URL. (example of URL: http://www.espn.com)

Step 2: repeat from above.

The thing is there is something really weird with this board when you copy and paste HTML articles into these text boxes. It locks up the page for a while. It seems to be trying to process all the tags or something. Its kind of annoying.

What I usually do is copy the article into notepad first, then copy from notepad to here.

Learn your keyboard short cuts from the Menu Bar.
Most functions have a short cut, and these are time savers.

Also learn your function keys, I never new that F5 was a reload page function
until someone on this forum told me about it.
It seems to work better than Control R for refresh.

Control C = Copy
Control V = Paste
Control X = Cut
Control P = Print
Control S = Save

For the rest of you all:

What is your favorite keyboard short cut and why?

Mine is Commannd I shift X + *J

Mine is Alt+F4 and then enter. Amazing feature that everyone should try at least 2 or three times to see if they can ever get used to it.
