Former Cowboys LB dies
putting the LINK here. massive strokes kill a former LB. another for the never ending study of 'head injury' resulting from playing in the NFL? i'd have to research it, but i'm wondering if he ever had concussions and if so, how many.
Cowboys linebacker Godfrey Myles dies at 42 PUBLISHED Sunday, Jun 12, 2011 at 12:24 pm EDT LAST UPDATED 10 hours and 35 minutes ago Associated Press Text size A A A MIAMI — Former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Godfrey Myles has died after suffering a massive stroke. He was 42. Myles' cousin, Requel Gibson, told The Associated Press on Sunday that Myles died Friday morning. The Miami native played for the University of Florida from 1987-1990. He served as team captain and made the All-SEC team his senior year. Myles was selected by the Cowboys in the third round of the 1991 NFL Draft. He played six years with the team, earning three Super Bowl rings. He retired after the 1996 season. Chew on THAT, Petunia!

He had a heart attack, which led to his stroke. Sorry to hear about someone dying. He was relatively young too.

But if you have a heart attack, it leads to stroke which is what actually kills you. When the brain doesnt get oxygen, it strokes out. |

Either way, sad hearing he died like that. Im only 1 year younger than he was. Tomorrow is not guaranteed for anyone.

Tomorrow is not guaranteed for anyone. i'm 12 years OLDER than him. and yeah Jedi, you're right, no one is guaranteed tomorrow. on that note, the mood will be total eclipsed tomorrow for a little over an hour. it won't be seen in north america, but will be viewable in it's entirety across asia and the middle east. if you haven't studied lunar eclipses, they tend to give what you can see of the moon during the eclipse, a reddish or crimson look. i won't be surprised if someone doesn't quote the prophet Joel in the Bible and say the moon is turning into blood and it's the end of the world. maybe that may 21st guy just missed by a few weeks, what do you think? A stroke happened to kill my paternal grandmother at 89 on February 27th of this year. So sad that he died so young. Praying for his family as thoughts are with him and his loved ones

On January 20, I unexpectedly lost my father to an extremely rare blood disease less than a month away from his 60th birthday. |
