A Deion Sanders’ wife has filed two suits in district court in Collin County, Texas, for $200 million in damages, according to The Dallas Morning News.

Pilar Sanders is seeking a redress for an alleged assault in addition to the $200 million in damages for libelous and slanderous comments that were posted online, according to the report.

(AP Photo)In court filings last month, Pilar Sanders alleges that her husband and others are responsible for her emotional and physical abuse as well as mental distress, financial loss and public humiliation.

One of the suits focuses on a tweet from Sanders’ daughter, calling Pilar Sanders “the number one gold digger of the year” and another tweet from Deion Sanders about his wife’s “lies and foolishness.” The second suit deals with an alleged assault last month at the Sanders’ home.

Deion Sanders filed for divorce from Pilar Sanders in December. Pilar Sanders’ attorney says the suits are unrelated to the couple’s divorce case.
