Just stop already with your ignorant BS. You are making a total ass of yourself.

Everybody who gets a paycheck pays no less than 15% income tax on top of their state sales tax already right now at this moment. And depending on your income level, you can easily pay even more than that. This plan removes the 15%-35% income tax brackets and makes it a flat 9% for everybody. So everyone at minimum is walking around with no less than 6% more money in their pockets than before. Now when they go to buy something, they will pay 9% national sales tax plus whatever their state sales tax is which nets a +3% difference for anyone who was in that 15% tax bracket only. So if this was all you took into consideration, sure, it looks like poor people are now paying 3% more than before.

But here's the kicker, the companies that everyone works for are also walking around with 6% more money than before too, but on a much larger scale. On top of that, every company will of course remove the 3-8% embedded tax that is inherent in every product sold in this country (Yes, companies actually do mark up every product they sell by 3-8% to help compensate for some of the taxes they pay and are forced to match, like SS and medicare). So even though poor people seem to have a +3% net difference, they will actually be paying 3-8% less for every damn thing they buy.

In the end, the WORSE that can possibly happen is people in the current 15% tax bracket will break totally even. And thats not even taking into consideration that they don't have to pay capital gains taxes on investments any longer. Add to that the companies they work for have a lot more money to spread around and will likely hire more people and/or pay them more as a result.

Now like I said, STFU and go educate yourself before you try to bash something you clearly know nothing about.

Also stop quoting straw polls they have never been an indicator of who wins the presidency. The winner of the straw poll is the one who buys the most votes. Bachman won the Ames poll two months ago and now her whole NH staff has quit on her. Cain will fade by Christmas.

Just watch that if you would. This is the South Carolina debate that included Romney and all the other Republican candidates. They randomly pulled 29 people out of the crowd afterwards, only 1 of which went into the event supporting Cain. After listening to all of the candidates debate for an hour and a half, 26 of them changed their support to Cain.

And this is what's happening everywhere he goes. And he's doing it without spending hardly any money. No where close to the money the other candidates have.

If he was only getting like 10-15% of the straw poll votes and winning by a couple percent, I might agree with you. But he's getting 37%+ while Romney has gone from around 20-25% down to 12-15% since Cain has joined the running.

Like I said, just wait until this really gets into the mainstream and the real shit begins. If he's already getting the politically educated, wait until the masses who gobble up the koolaid to make their decisions get into the mix.

It's a poorly asked question because it's inaccurately interpreted by you.

He doesn't believe the majority of Muslims are attempting to enforce Sharia law on America.

He believes that Sharia law does not belong in US courts, period. Muslims aren't trying to enforce Sharia law on America, but they certainly have tried to use it under the Freedom of Religion rights to attempt to circumvent US laws that are contradictory. And this is what he has said he is against.

He believes the US Constitution and it's laws are supreme and cannot be circumvented simply because your religion says you can and should do things that are against US law.

Hopefully you'll understand better why Cain opposes Sharia law in US courts. He (and I as well) do not believe Sharia law should circumvent US laws.

Again, this is idiotic. He has stated a lot of Muslims are trying to enforce Sharia law upon the U.S. When you say they are trying to ease Sharia law and their faith into our government, and that's precisely what he said, what else could that possibly mean? Combine that with him saying that he was uncomfortable when he found out his surgeon was named, "Abdallah," and it's pretty damn obvious this guy is afraid of Muslims.

Regardless though, no one can provide a single example of Muslims attempting to circumvent U.S. law and apply Sharia law. It hasn't happened. It's a damn bogeyman campaign. He stated flat out that he would not consider Muslims for his cabinet, flat out. He back tracked later and added exceptions, but then he turned around and stated he never said it on Beck's radio show back on May 24th.
