Poll: Should the Saints Bounty thread be unlocked?

Please reconsider the closing of the Aints thread. Roger just stepped aside, the Tags took over the appeal, and the NFLPA just gave him 24 hours to explain himself, or a motion will be filed before that bitch judge who thinks it's her job to make Vilma happy no matter what. There is PLENTY to talk about, all affecting our MAIN division rival, who just moved into 2nd place in the division, whether we like it or not. Their abysmal start is clearly a direct result of this important topic, and I'd like to see the failures continue. If not that thread, many more will appear in its place, and keeping it all to one thread was a wise decision.

Please open it back up. I wanted to post an article in it about Tags.

I appreciate your consideration of relenting on your previous decision. Thanks!

So it sounds like we aren't talking about it at all, which is honestly fine with me. As long as Guido is still here the only point of the thread is to argue with him about it and he's proven that he will never admit he's wrong on any subject. The less he says the better so good riddance.

Guido wasn't the problem in that thread. Some people on this site just aren't capable of being civil. It's terribly disappointing.

But why punish the site for those people? Punish the people.

I want to talk about our rivals and opponents when info is there, and this is a major subject that affects us.
If I recall, I was the one that asked it to be reopened last time.
If it is closed, the same discussion will happen, just in new threads, which is pointless. Let's just keep it to that one, like we have, so those that want to ignore it can, and those that want the info can get it too.

I like Guido posting all the whining Aints-slanted articles I would not see otherwise. How can I cherish the whining of my enemy if I don't get to see the fallout first-hand. Laughing at their W-L record is great, but I want more tears too! This is too delicious not to enjoy fully.

Considering now they are attacking Tags, this is far from reaching it's most hilarious point!

I voted yes on the thread even though I am sick of the Saints bounty stuff. I think that having all that talk be in 1 thread is better than a new thread every time there is something new that comes up.

I think it is unfair to say that Guido has done nothing wrong. That guy has been straight trolling our boards for ages. This crap with the saints is a joke. I come here to read Falcons related news. It's a FALCONS BOARD. Yet how many threads about our team has he gone into and decided to start talking about the saints. How many times do fans of this team in our board have to sit their and read straight Bullshit this guy is pedalling. I have mostly kept out of the thread because I despise the subject matter enough as it is. I had a look early this week late last week and to see that it has hit upwards of 150 pages or whatever it is I was like right ok. I had a look and it's the same crap going on. Just because the dude is doing it with pleasantries and curtsies doesn't mean he ain't doing it at all. If I rape someone but give them flowers and a kiss afterwards. Have I not still raped them? Just because I go about it nicely doesn't mean I've not done it at all. If Beef was banned I personally think Guido should have been too. It's one thing putting across a valid and structured argument. But it has been one stack of assumptions. Delusions and straight conspiracy over and over again. It's insulting to anyone to basic intelligence to read a grown man trying to convince you that The saints are completely innocent in all of this. Roger Goodell isn't a fool as much as many people dislike him give the guy some credit for having basic human intelligence. Why would a man risk his Job, Reputation and possibly his freedom to screw a team for no reason. This has now descended into arguing over semantics and definitions oh well a bounty isn't pay for injury. The league condoned pay for injury in the past. The league didn't condone it. Thy were slow to react to a situation.

A guy who ain't part of our fan base and is on here playing games with people on here over a serious issue is getting treated better than your own fellow fans. That's messed up. Personally I stopped caring because I'm starting to avoid this place. I don't really want to, but seeing true circle of crap spiralling around conversations saints or non saints related that get redirected. It's bloody old and tiresome. This place went through a phase of being really active. Lots of good conversation. Falcons fans discussing and analysing our team for better or worse. Now what is there here really. A couple of topics a week. Some of the best posters don't even bother here now. And someone who yes loses his rag and does not bother with niceties for long but also has one of the best football minds on this board alongside guys like Radical ain't able to access it because the troll with a bowtie isn't even being given so much as a public warning. It's ass about face here at the moment. Do something constructive to fix it.

FullMetal, which is why having one thread for all of it, that you can easily avoid, is a good thing for you to want.

Personally, I don't mind fans of other teams coming here. Expecting them to be rational seems silly, since no rational person would be an Aints fan, but I think "friendly" rivalry - without over-the-top personal attacks - is fair for Radical to expect, from them and us.

This is a topic affecting Falcons fans, and it needs a place. It can have one, or it can have many - so I think the answer is obvious to prevent the whole board becoming cluttered again.

However, I do miss some of our past posters, and do wish we could do something to get them back (including Beef, whom I assume will return very shortly after whatever cool-off he needed - I did not see what happened).

I agree with you, it needs to be contained. The thread should be opened as a new sticky in my opinion put some rules in at the top and if possible lock offenders out of the thread like you can out of chat. But don't lock them off the whole board and away from places where they are valued and not perpetually wound up.

Sometimes I think people needed to be allowed to say how they fell about a situation or a person but yeah I think I recall beed going off the deep end. I know a few days ago I laid into Guido and told him exactly what I thought of what he was doing. I couldn't care more or less about him as a person because I don't know him, but this I'm not doing anything wrong act is ridonculous. Stop making out like you mean well and just embrace the fact that you are trolling these boards.

I like fans from other teams being here we had a few and they've gone away for whatever reasons but I like fans with actual sense and respect. Guido has no respect for the posters on here to continually be insulting people's intelligence with the stuff he is writing and using as arguments against them. That's not informed discussion that is trolling.

I spend a lot of time on the Falcoholic now. And week after week there are fans from other teams stopping by to chat and discuss or debate issues with their team or our team and the match up and I have not seen this long running agro go on with the ones that stick around and continue to post long after the game is played J Peso is a good example of that. Dude has been around since 2010. Treats the falcons as his second team. But he will criticize and analyse in a way that even if it is plain blunt you know he aint trying to get a rise out of people or play nice before coming at you sideways again.

I struggle to graps why Guido and or moderators/admins can't seem to even admit that he is doing this whether he is being offensive or not. Has the guy got Jedi mind tricks or something
