Sure he missed some, who doesn't, but the guy is coming to play and he made tackles when he needed to, or at the very least slowed the guy up enough(except for the 1st Hillis wiff) to allow the rest of the defense to swarm in and finish for almost no extra gain. He isn't an All-pro tackler, but he is improving and getting the job done.

maybe D.Rob can help him with his tackling and Grimes can help D.Rob with his coverage that way we would have all around DBs !!

i was never against grimes, i just wanted to see owens more. ok, so i was wrong! LOL owens definitely had some trouble covering today, and gave up at least two first downs on plays that were 5 yards or more. i'm wondering if he's completely healthy, not making excuses, just wondering.

always liked grimes ability to cover, and as said, though he missed a few tackles today, he DID make a few big ones too. all around so far i have to agree with peyton, there is no doubt he's not being thrown at a lot
