No fine for Ed Reed

RE: No fine for Ed Reed
If Dunta gets fined for a bullshit bang bang play, that he actually injured himself on, then Ed Reed should get fined for trying to decapitate our franchise QB. I guarantee, if it were Laron Landry hitting Tom Brady or Manning, he would have been fined and possibly suspended.

RE: No fine for Ed Reed
I do agree with you guys that had Ed Reed pulled that stunt on Brady or Manning he would get fined, but I would need to see this "secondary adjustment" he made to graze his forearm across Ryan's helmet. The fact that we are even saying had this been Manning or Brady makes it disgusting in my eyes that the NFL wouldn't legislate it with consistency.

RE: No fine for Ed Reed
another player hitting a bigger name QB gets fined everytime for that play. while i'm not a fan of the way the nfl is going about this fine business i'm most angered that it is so poorly implemented

If you watch the play in Matrix/slow-motion time you can clearly see Reed throw his elbow at the head of Ryan. He knew what he was doing. Live speed action was too fast to capture it properly.
