Saints lost to a team by 5 points that had 4 fewer wins than them, on the road, all the way across the country on a short week.

Falcons lost to a team by 27 points that had 3 fewer wins than them, at home, after a bye, with home field advantage.

Tell me which is truely worse. It's not even close.

I would say better luck next year, but that's impossible for the Falcons. They will never get the luck they had this year to get the #1 seed. The Saints dominated their way to the #1 seed a year ago by blowing out most of their opponents by 20+ points.

Falcons just blew their best chance of getting to and possibly winning the Super Bowl.
