New Forum to be Created

We will be creating a new sub forum to the main forum that will contain "Featured Content". The idea is to put some of the greatest threads in this limited area so they don't disappear forever like most of our threads do.

The moderators will decide collectively when a thread should be moved into the featured content forum but 4-6 members will be able to start threads directly in the forum. These members will be known as "Featured Members".

The Featured Members will still be able to post in all of the forums of course, the "Featured Content" forum will be for the threads that are particularly articulate and/ or contain substantial information. As an example, I would point to Tandy's work in one thread breaking down every pass play for the Falcons to evaluate the Falcons pass protection. That is the kind of work that deserves extra recognition.

Because this is a site that has been established with the concept of "by the fans, for the fans", we are going to let the board members decide who the first 3 featured members are going to be.

First you can submit in this thread the names of members who you would like to see as featured members, then this evening I will start a poll of all nominated folks. You can't nominate yourself.

I hope you all enjoy this concept, it's going to allow us to preserve our own HOF of message board content.

i'm with you on these peyton. Tandy's analysis is awesome, Sportsfreak always has the inside scoop. Gritz has a good ability to get things on track with some of his posts. I really like the TDW thoughts threads that he does.

Will add one more, how can we NOT put atljbo in there? seems he's always the first to post an article with imortant info.

We'll have access but I won't start threads in there. If I get lucky and make a really great thread, it can be moved in there, but that will be up to the other admins / mods.

We'll consider ATLJBO nominated. The content that is in the "Featured Content" forum will have to be unique content to this site though.
