I didn't overlook anything. Your team lost and all you did and continue to do is give excuses as to why you lost. You're too old for excuses Guido. You should know better than that.

I'm not comparing our offenses against eachother so stop your crapolla of trying to deter the subject to a battle between the Saints and the Falcons. The key thing here is that you are so delusional that you don't think the loss of Payton being on the sideline won't have a huge impact on your team.

What you basically just gave me were excuses...those same instances where surprises happen in regards to the Bucs game will happen this year without Payton being available. Thos same instances where people will get injured will happen this year and he will have to adjust WITHOUT Payton on the sideline.

I'm going to show you how you constantly contradict yourself. You have CONSTANTLY advised that the loss of Payton won't be a big deal because Carmichael, Brees, and Payton always go thru the gameplan together. You basically claim that Carmichael is an extension of Payton and he won't have ANY problems. Well guess what the BIGGEST THING that Carmichael will miss from Payton is a safety net. A safety net in those times where adjustments need to be made and he struggles with it.

But guess what....adjustments was the main reason for your excuse of the team losing. He was unprepared for the injury, he was unprepared for taking over playcalling duties and Payton recognized this by coming down to the sideline even when he was still on crutches.

But of course I'm welcomed to more inside info that says otherwise. Rolleyes

As I said, the Carmichicael led offense outscored the Bucs in the second half. And Carmichael doesn't need a safety net. He is one of the most sought after head coaching candidates in the league. He has the best offense in the league. He'll be fine ... as much as it will pain you to realize that.

No, I gave REASONS. Reasons and excuses are vastly different. Excuses are given when there is no real reason. I am a systems and business analyst by trade. I know the difference. Excuses are made when someone has screwed up. Reasons are given when there is a definitive answer for why things went wrong. Excuses are for losers. Reasons can be corrected. Perhaps you are too young to know better than that.

But, regardless, last year was last year and this year is this year.

As much as you want it to, it doesn't pain me at all. I want a Super Bowl and if the Falcons lose twice to the Saints and still win one, then I will be still be a happy camper.

So sorry Guido, but no the Saints do not dictate my attitude.

As far as Carmichael is concerned you are changing your tune a tad. I really need to understand your definition of "fine" because you still believe the Saints will win the division. I never said the Saints will suck. That is your big misconception. Others may have said it, but I believe the Saints will have a decent season. I honestly give them at the most 10 wins, but most like 7-9 wins.

Per a conversation we have had before, you feel as if the Saints will win the division so I wonder how many wins do you think it will take to get the division. Is it 10 wins, 11, 12?

If it's 10 then you have an small outside shot at that. Anything above that and I think Payton's absence, Bountygate, media, Carmichael's faults, yes he has faults altho you don't seem to think so, will be huge factors as to why you won't get there.

ONE player gets injured on the O-line AND He isn't your best O-lineman and it's a reason?

Playcalling duties are taken over at halftime when you were down and it's a reason?

So excuses are given when the problem can't be corrected?
Pete didn't screw up by not knowing how to adjust to his RT being injured? One Player? I'm sorry but I need to clarify, just one player?

The Bucs team who only won 3 games last year???? I can easily say that we would have won the game against the Bucs if Roddy White didn't drop the wide open touchdown with only a few seconds left on the clock, but wouldn't that be an excuse?

No Guido you got it all wrong I'm afraid. If's are for people who make excuses. If the RT wasn't injured, If the the Bucs didn't have a lead at the half.

Well I will be looking forward to you saying at the end of the season....."If Payton wasn't suspended..."

LOL, Carmichael led NO to a WHOPPING 10 points in the second half vs. TB's 6. Yeah, he really "outscored" the Bucs with that fieldgoal and single TD.

If that's "fine", i'm excited to see it.

I had posted game by game in another thread how I felt the Saints would do. I am expecting 12 wins. The Saints are going to be one of the top scoring teams in the league again this year. The defense will be much, much better and Payton's absence will not affect that side of the ball at all. I feel 11 wins will win the division as the second place team would not be likely to have more than 10 wins.

Which of the following do you expect the Saints to lose? I know Vegas has them favored in 11 of the first 15.

Yet you ignore the next seven games where he went 7-0, including sweeping your Falcons. That is more than fine.

Camp doesn't start for six weeks. Nobody will be "in camp" after this Thursday until in July.
