NFL: Who here can't wait for week 2?

i hate to look past week 1 in terms of the Bears. I mean I'm ready for that too, but I cannot WAIT for week 2. I'm a fan, so I can look past whoever I want, and I'm sure the coaches will have the players ready to go to Soldier Field.

But this matchup with the "Dream Team" oh dude, I cannot WAIT! That team has owned us for so long, but no way, not this year, not this time fellas. You got a gift a couple years ago from Rossum and the ref who decided to put a gigantic boot in our butts because your team couldn't close the door.

Not this year, this year despite the addition of Scrabble to the team, you have destroyed the locker room there. They are boding over the injuries of the DTs sure, but that doesn't put beef back in the line, you traded away your best DT this offseason, and you're placing all your hopes and dreams on Cullen Jenkins. You may have 3 great corners, but they can't stop Ovie and Turner. You may have 3 great corners, but you can't leave them 1 on 1, Roddy already showed he owns Asante, Julio is going to be 1 on 1, and that's going to spell trouble, even for Nnamdi. Turner is going to just absolutely blaze your defense, he's going right up the middle, and he's going to wear out that defense.

The Eagles offense is explosive, guess what, our defense held them to so little after that first quarter explosion last year that were it not for a couple of brain farts, we'd have been right back in that (again, the refs helped on a ST situation that took an opportunity away from Matty ICE) Now, this year we've added a consistent pass rusher from the LDE spot, is he a superstar, absolutely not, but he's someone you can't leave 1 on 1 like you could Jamaal. He's not someone you can overpower 1 on 1 in the run game like you could Kroy. You're going to see pressure right up the middle against Michael Vick, right up in his face, and he's going to have to stand there and take it. Your best WR is pissed off cause you went out and blew your wad on all these corners, and gave him nothing despite him severely outplaying his contract, AND coming to the realization that his career could be over at any second (thanks Dunta) So now your #1 offensive threat is disgruntled, your draft sucked, and your team is just hoping that this year they can win it all.

Oh, good luck keeping Vick healthy for 16 games, he's only done it once in his career, and that was on the other side of 30. Not that he's lost a step or anything, cause he's still among the elite speedsters in the NFL, and still poses more problem than any QB in the league not named Peyton, but you're kidding yourself if you think that 1 big shot isn't going to hobble his season. I'm not rooting for him to get hurt, I'm just going on the past, and what has happened. You're going to see the Falcons start a new era this year, we've come in and now have wiped clean the no back to back winning records deal, and are now back to back to back, we're looking to repeat as NFC South Champs (hasn't ever happened in this division before) and we're looking to stake claim to what is rightfully ours, OWNERSHIP OF THE NFC. So you bring your gimmicks and toys, we're bringing our shovels, and we're going to bury you in week 2.

btw i just pulled out gametape from last year and rewatched them again. Or offense was as slow as a turtle, and our D was close bringing down QBs but just keep on running into each other or just mistackle the qb.
