RE: Was anybody watching Around the league on NFL Network
Honestly, I'm so glad I'm not watching any of this anymore. It took all of a few nights early in the preseason to be reminded how much I dislike listening to these dumbasses sit around and talk, pretending they know what they are talking about but in the end it's more like watching the View. And the fact that this drivel comes from former players, and worse, coaches, who absolutely should know better just makes it all the more annoying. Guys like that should provide some insight but instead they just provide gossip. There are some exceptions of course, I do like the X's and O's types of shows, but for every Charles Davis or Billick there are 10 Jamie Dukes who just can't wait to talk about what Tony Romo ate for dinner. Trying to listen to Michael Irvin talk makes me long for a double shot of chemo.
Actually there is better info and deeper analysis to be had by the "commoners" on the various message boards around the league, and it's much easier to sift through the crap. So, I'll be tuning in a 1pm on Sunday, not a minute sooner! |

If you don't get over excited about winning that game, and winning it in the fashion that we did then you shouldn't be in professional sports. Sounds like sour grapes.

RE: Was anybody watching Around the league on NFL Network
Well after hearing the segment I do not think I would mind what he said if he brought up a single point. I really wonder what he thought the "chink" in our armor was. I often wandered how the saints really thought about us with out the coach speak and there a good football team crap. Heath just let us know. It seems that there is no respect there. He talked about how we celebrated like we just won the superbowl. They will do the same if they beat the packers. Beating the former champs is huge for an up and coming team.

While I felt Evans was correct about his point that QB play in the NFC South is better than the QB play in the NFC North, he made himself look like a jackass while arguing his point. I was waiting for the bitch slapping to start. Lombardi's unflinching defense of Matthew Stafford was shockinglly astute to me. Heath seemed like a walking case of 'roid rage. Heath!.............babydoll..........DE-CAF! |

RE: Was anybody watching Around the league on NFL Network
Heath Evans is the same loudmouth clown who was lambasting the owners and Goodell in a couple interviews with ESPN and NFLN the day before the CBA was signed, spouting off how the owners are liars and trying to sneak in things for their favor at the last minute and them agreeing to the CBA before the NFLPA did was a deal killer and so on.
He dug a huge hole with those interviews complaining, name calling, and pretty much screaming like an ingnorant roid-rage baffoon. It's no wonder he's now out of the NFL. And I'll bet he doesn't last long as an analyst either. He'll be delegated to the sidelines of meaningless games just like Siragusa very soon. |

Brees last drive in our house, was just continued by the fudge packers in the play offs. OUCH!!! |

RE: Was anybody watching Around the league on NFL Network
When he was talking about a "chink" in our armor he was referring to something mental, not personnel. You can tell that's what he was referring to by the way he talked about us. If you haven't then you will see what I'm talking about. If you have seen it, then watch it one more time.
