I'm sorry, but Moon is playing the race card when it is clear as day that race has nothing to do with Cam's issue.

Obviously the race card is a big issue for you...lol

I can't lose respect over one issue. Everybody isn't going to agree on everything.

Actually I haven't even heard his explanation or his take. I just really heard race issue, warren moon, cam newton.

But to each their own.

I didn't lose all respect for Warren Moon because I can understand that he is bitter that it wasn't until he was almost 30 that he finally got a chance to play in the NFL despite having a great college career and winning 5 Gray Cups in the CFL.

He probably just wants respect that's all. Not just for himself but for other players who get no respect it seems.

The way we grew up or the obstacles we had to face thru life affect the way we think about tjings and see things.

He's going to be more sensitive to things like this because of what he experienced. Unfortunately he is off based.

I'm not a race card type of guy, but I can definitely tell you racism is still prevalent. Not just for black people though. I dont think its ever going away. There are too many ignorant people.

Things have def changed since then and there is a lower tolerance for it, but just two days ago I think a woman car got vandalized and they put "KKK" on it and the woman got burned. I just think we need to up the ante on the tolerance a little bit more because a lot of people, maybe like yourself, didn't know about it because it wasn't national news.

I think that one thing that is keeping racism as prevalent as it is, is the thought that it can only be in one direction. Placing all the blame on one side also helps to foster an environment where hatred and resentment can breed, leading both sides to harbor ill-will.
