NFL: Warren Moon = HOF player but STFU

Just heard a Warren Moon audio clip on SportsCenter and of course he's playing the race card and saying Cam Newton is being unfairly criticized because he's black. Gimme a break! Ryan Leaf acted the same way that Cam does and Leaf got hammered by the media too. Act like a baby in postgame interviews and you will get burned! It doesn't matter if you're black, white, red, green, purple, asian, american, mexican, ect.

yeah, that's what I don't get,The NFL has been swooning over RG3 for months now and all of a sudden the media is racist because they rightly point out that Cam is dog shit at QB.

I can see how he thinks that, but lets be honest -- the reason Cam is criticized is because he's a pouting crybaby. You can be a horrible QB and you'll be criticized for your play, but people won't pull for you to fail. But if you whine and cry and pout all the time after you lose, nobody is going to want you to win except fans of your team, and they'll turn on you eventually. What Cam needs is not a different skin color. Cam needs a different attitude.

My respect for Moon doesn't go to zero because we disagree on one issue, but being black I have a keen sense for when racism is involved and this ain't it at all. Not even close.

Cam was getting praised last year. Matter of fact ESPN showed a side by side comparison of Cam's stats from last year to this year and they were almost identical except for the TD's.

The yards, completion percentage, record, ect were all the same. The difference....

More pouting when in the offseason he said he was gonna pout less.
