That right there is the smoking gun. Hargrove admits he "did as told" - not that he told the truth. How can he lie and deny something he did not know was going on? Hargrove just admitted there was a bounty program. You can't "Play Dumb" to the truth and let it "blow over" - and if you don't see that, the straws you are grasping at are weaker than Vilma's claims of innocence. Williams and Vitt got their players to lie to the NFL about bounties, and the coverup is always worse than the act. They deserve more time than they got.

He said, in writing, that he did exactly as told. He absolutely did not admit to any bounty program. Goodell and Mary Jo White are already beginning to get slammed about their total misrepresentation of this declaration by the media. This declaration catches them in a lie.

Oh, and the term "play dumb" came from the headline writer. Carefully read the declaration AND Florio's article that I posted about the declaration.

When this whole thing started you were outright cursing the media

The article proves that both Goodell and Mary Jo White misrepresented the declaration to the press. Umm, that's also called lying (note correct spelling). So, yes, it does support my thinking completely.

Yes, I was, and am still cursing the media that is taking everything the league says at face value.

And now the press is beginning to take a step back and are starting to ask all the same questions as I have been raising.

There is no contradicting because the story is constantly changing.

Yes, what about Cole's article? You have read the declaration, right? I read that article over two hours ago. All it does is repeat excerpts from the declaration. What value added point does that article present?
