Come on man, you don't need to be a genius to connect these dots.

It was an audio tape. The camera had been turned off. Where is the proof. You can't hear a chin being touched or fingers rubbing together. Even if you could, that doesn't mean a bounty existed. He could have been saying, "Earn your pay."

Conjecture at best. Not proof of anything.

If I call correctly Radical never mentioned that as proof. He actually said it doesn't take a genius to connect to dots as in figure it out.

He was right it doesn't take a genius but it does take an unbiased mind. I'm 110% positive you don't have one. Don't let your fandom destroy your intelligence. Don't end up roadside in a ditch. Don't sell your hair to a hair shop. LOL!!!

Okay, lets just say it was on camera and actually did happen. Does that mean any player sitting in that room took it to heart and truly went out to earn that money or even tried? Remember that the Saints had ZERO penalties that game. None. Does that sound like a team trying to commit atrocities toward an opponent?

Could Williams have offered up money? Maybe. If this was true he was indicating that it was his money up, not any player's. It doesn't even imply that any player gave funds to induce injury. Itt doesn't even imply that any player intentionally induced injury.

The Saints lawyers said that Williams was rogue. The guy was crazy. He sounded like he was. The Saints defense played that game like they DIDN'T want to hurt anyone.

Connect the dots.

If I attempt murder but it never actually happens, then do I go to jail?

The obvious point of this type of system is to be as discreet as possible. Are you seriously basing it off of having no penalties?

RE: Vilma Suspended 1 year
At one time I had a stockbroker (financial advisor) who had that same mindset. "The market just dropped a load today so it is the perfect time to buy more!" Next week it was sell. Maytag never churned anything more than he did my account! He refused to accept reality because his ego was involved.

This thread brings back memories.

I love the Falcons and to hell with anyone who doesn't!

No, I am basing it off the fact that there is no proof that any player ever put money into a pay to injure pot. I am basing it off there is no proof that any player ever collected any money from a pay to injure pot.

The fact that no player was injured and there was no penalties at all are simply circumstantial.

Sound familiar? And the league's version is no stronger than that.
