RE: Vilma Suspended 1 year
Just because a grievance was filed it doesn't mean anything will come of it. We all knew this part was coming. It's based on if they have something to stand on. From what I understand the NFL worded the reason for the punishment in a way where Goodell would have full rights to punish the players.
The detrimental to the league and unfair to other players portion is the part I believe. I might be wrong on the wording. But if the wording is correct then all the league has to do is prove that the offense is detrimental to the league and unfair to other players then this grievance will be debunked. That is easily done. The next part is the evidence portion which you obviously seem to agree with the NFLPA on their stance over the NFL mainly because it helps your team. Goodell knew this was coming bc before he even suspended the players the MFLPA mentioned it wasn't enough evidence. He knows De Smith well enough to understand he will go the extra mile if he feels he should. Now we are in a he say, she say grind and altho we may not ever see the full evidence, the judge will and will ultimately decide, but I have a feeling you will say the judge has a reason to lie as well if he decides the evidence is enough. LOL! |

Vilma Suspended 1 year
We are learning something new about the Hargrove declaration. It didn't come from the NFL. It came from the PA It most likely does not mention anything about pay to injure or player trying to injure other player. It had to be an admission that a pay for performance program was in place. We already knew that. Once again, where is the proof of pay to injure. Not from Gregg Williams. Not from Hargrove. Not from Ornstein.

Far over the top, but in no way was it proof that any opposing player was ever injured intentionally for money. Nothing in the tape pointed to a bounty program. Zip. Zero. Nada. We hit fuck' Smith right there. *points to his chin* Remember me, I've got the first one. *Rubs fingers together indicating cash payment.* - Gregg Williams Come on man, you don't need to be a genius to connect these dots. |

I'm really sick of you constantly speculating in one sentence and then holding that speculation as fact immediately after.
"Most likely it does not mention anything about....", and then shortly after, "...where is the proof... Not from Hargrove." You don't know shit about shit. |

RE: Vilma Suspended 1 year
Well the Saints seem to have a big blow now that their Defensive Captain is suspended without pay for a year. As they are going to have to scramble BIG TIME!

Their defensive captain has been injured and on the decline. Curtis Lofton will more than take his place. The Saints also added David Hawthorne and Chris Chamberlain at LB through free agency. The scramble happened weeks ago. Their whole defensive corps is improved. They have a better DC in Spagnuolo and their record setting offense is still intact. They will be a strong as ever. Well to be perfectly honest, Vilma was horrible last year so with him not playing that will probably end up being an improvement.

First, Anthony Hargrove composed and signed a declaration with the help of the NFLPA. That declaration was sent to the league. That is the declaration that Goodell mentioned that declared Hargrove's involvement in a pay for performance program. The NFLPA has stated that they have seen absolutely no evidence of any player involvement including contributing to or collecting from a pay to injure system. Given they have Hargrove's declaration it could not mention anything about pay to injure. Therefore, Hargrove has not provided any proof of pay to injure, just as I stated. I do know shit about shit. Thank you very much.
