They may have trouble getting to the actual players unless Gregg Williams cooperates. All they know now is it happened and probably the whole defense was involved. But they need more than probably. Still clear it happened.

Once again, no coach said anything about a "pay-to-injure" thing going on. That is the message the media tried to imply, but that obviously isn't what any evidence that the NFL office has shared implies.

You are concluding that because they have not passed over the evidence there is no quantative or even qualitative evidence. That is your folly. They aren't under an obligation to hand over evidence to the NFLPA. Just like with the Pats have you ever stopped to think the league does not wish to expose the information to its full extent as the details may be too damaging. The fact is the League would not have broke the story on this and announced it if they didn't have proof. Why put a blackmark on the league and one of its popular franchises. Take your head out of your ass and let your brain breathe.

It sounds to me they simply want to see any proof whatsoever. You would think that any REAL evidence would have been readily shared by the league if they truly had any.

Perhaps you might wish to get a breathe of fresh air yourself. What evidence would be to damaging? To who and in what way? Perhaps, the league would have made up, er, broke the "story" to show that they were being reactive and proactive in protecting the the players ... blah, blah, blah. Perhaps they were trying to cover their asses and took something that could not be proved and blew it totally out of proportion to make a point.

The NFL isn't going to put out a shit storm story like this and suspend Sean Payton indefinitely ban Williams. And continue their process of discipline to look pro active. 3 fucking years they investigated this. I think the time for being reactionary has passed.

There is no point entertaining this conversation any longer. I'm refusing to engage your bull.

And so I'm clear this would be my opinion on any franchise in any sport. It's not because you are a saints fan or because it happened to the saints. So just to make it clear. I'm not victimising you your team or anyone else involved in this on the basis that you are New Orleans fan. It's because you are being a Nostradumbass about this.

I have no doubt something happened. I have every doubt there was any kind deadly plot to take out opposing players as being suggested in the press.

But, if the union takes a stand and protects the players from any suspensions. per se, the Saints will be in much better shape entering the season. It is all important to the shakeout of the NFC South.

The NFLPA doesn't think the players ever do anything wrong.

Remember this NFL players when you want to sue the league over concussion issues. The league not the union is looking out for you.
