Truth About Why Tebow Accepted Trade To Jets Instead Of Jaguars
Jay Glazer just explained the truth behind why Tebow accepted a trade to the Jets instead of the Jaguars.

I had tried for months to come of with every reason imaginable for why Tebow would to the Jets instead of the Jaguars. I could come up with a few good reasons but nothing that was a great reason. Nothing that would have been as great as him going to the Jaguars and saving that franchise and keeping it from moving to Los Angeles.

But Glazer said the new Jaguars owner wanted Tebow but Tebow was told by both Mularkey and whoever the Jaguars GM is that Tebow was unwelcomed in Jacksonville. No way would Tebow go to a place where he was unwelcomed.

No player would rather go to Jacksonville than New York, truth be told. It's like choosing between the absolute best place for marketing opportunities and the absolute worst place.

Not disputing the story....but that's an easy choice regardless.

What's better? Going to a team that won't let you play our going to a place where you would have a chance to play?

Tim Tebow is never going to be a QB in this league. I think he is very close to accepting that. And that being the case, he has a chance to play anywhere...just not QB.

But he's not getting to play. Being a punt protector is crap. Tebow could be a hell of a short yardage running back.

And I respectfully disagree. Tebow could play QB and be successful in the NFL if a coach and owner would build a team around him. For all the flak Tebow gets about his passing nobody ever talks about how great he is at throwing deep. He's got one of the best deep balls I've ever seen. It's the passes inside of 10 yards that are his biggest problem.

Well there aren't any NFL GMs left that agree with you about him being a QB, so he is going to have to go to Canada if he wants to be a QB.

I think the guy could be a very nice FB.
