OK... so he's kidding but still on NFL network to say he's taking Luck or Griffin at number 5 is a major insult to Freeman... jokingly or not!

Obvious that neither will be there... Obvious that if either were he'd have to.

Still watching this today on NFL network made me proud we have a GM who keeps his humor out of the media when it comes to personnel decisions...

Did anyone else see this and have their mouth drop? (Last question in the video)

I saw it and thought it was funny. It was a stupid question and he came back with a nonsensical answer to blow it off. Later I did think that a very thin skinned player that didn't understand his humor might be taken aback. Freeman is a whiner, so who knows.

Yea it wasn't a big deal at all... Everyone knows the hype surrounding RG3 and Luck, all he did was make a joke about them even being available at the #5 pick. I dont think this was a shot at Freeman at all.

I prefaced my comments acknowledging he was kidding... as funny as it was if I were Freeman I'd offer a little payback in the press.
