Tampa Bay Bucaneers
What do we think about these guys?
To me they are an enigma. Year before last they were a ten win team and barely missed the playoffs. Last year they were a cluster fuck of dysfunction. With a new coach, what team shows up? Are they still the step child in the division? Every other team in the division has signed their picks, but not the Bucs, is this a sign of more ineptitude coming out of Tampa, or will we actually have to deal with this team this year? ![]()

RE: Tampa Bay Bucaneers
I don't think they are ready for the big time. They are good when their defense is on it and their QB is managing the game. I'm not worried about both their running or passing games just yet. I see them as average this year.

Five of their ten wins were by three points or less. Their ten point win against the Saints in the season finale came with many starters sitting out the entire game the rest leaving the game early. Let's also remember that a lot of those wins were against shit teams. This is my signature. |

I think you will see tampa as a much improved team over last year. It all falls on Freemans shoulders however. He has been given some pretty good tools to work with on offense now. I see them as close to a .500 team.

The bucs....they could be a threat, but we really will have to see what the new staff can do. They've drafted fairly well and if they can piece it all together I think they'll be a threat.

Bucs will suck. Raheem was a goof ball, their version of Jim Mora, and while the new coach is likely an upgrade in that department I'm just not buying in to the wood chopper. Seems like a good guy though. I would wish him well if he was in the AFC.

RE: Tampa Bay Bucaneers
The Bucs are an imperfect team playing in a division against two of the top teams in the NFC. Carolina is somewhat improved, but still not great, yet still can present a major problem to the Bucs.
Who can you see the Bucs beating out of the NFC East, Cowboys? No. Eagles? No. Giants? No. Redskins? Likely. I think they will be successful if they can manage six wins. Saints Fan Since 1967

I can say the same about both the Falcons and threw Saints that year almost. I mean with a few of their wins. Imo there are only 2.or 3 truly shit teams right more. Browns, Jaguars, Raiders (as.much as they always show flashes ov promise..) Maybe you could put the Colts on thee but last year imo was an anomolly. (did I spell that right?) Point being since I would say the 2007 or 2008 season, the entire NFL has grown a lot more even. Its hard to say any wins are easy to get anymore. Omitting blowouts of course. I think that this year we will see a little bit more of the 2010 Bucs. They'll put up a respectable 9-7 imo.
