I understand the Bears are more popular than the Eagles but the Falcons are far more popular than the Panthers. And it isn't like the Eagles are scrubs when it complete to popularity. ![]()

And also Cam has been talked about on every radio station and sports show the WHOLE week and although it wasn't good. There's thag possibility for him, in their eyes, to have that comeback game. Also to have it against a great Chicago Bears defense would turn all of these bad talks around quickly. |

The Falcons coverage in the south is as it usually is but I expected more with it being the Eagles but most of the people up the east coast are getting the Redskins @ Steelers game. Julio Jones is distinctive because of the physique and the hair, but he still isn't that recognizable to me standing in a line with several other well built black men with long hair. I feel much of the reason is the clear lack of promotion. There are many players that are always in the public eye due to commercial endorsements and such. Gonzo has been front and center for year, but the other just aren't out there or are somewhat nondescript like Ryan. And it's not just the Falcons. Several teams are in the same boat. I thought you meant an avg fan couldn't pick out the players by scanning the football field. As far as avg fans recognizing players out in street clothes, I think that # is an avg rate for all teams and that doesn't reflect how popular a team is in regards to the media coverage like we were discussing. |

I was talking recognizably which leads to individual star power which leads to team popularity on television. Saints Fan Since 1967
