They knocked us out of the Playoffs in 2002 and kept us from the Superbowl in 2005, we got them in 2006 but then had the biggest collapse ever. And they spanked us hard ever since, including the most EMBARRASING display ever witnessed in Georgia Dome History, as a tickled pink hard on lard ass Andy Reid put Vick in for his first TD as an Eagle, pooring salt in the wounds of thousands of true fans as imbeciles from Atlanta actually cheered for this insult to injury. I understand how you and other falcon fans feel and I don't look down on any of yall for it, i just don't feel the same way. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, we're all fans of the same team, some folks on both sides take it a bit extreme though. If Atlanta doesn't go to the super bowl the next NFC team I'd be rooting for would be Philly hands down. I think it would be great to see Vick win a ring for all the trials and tribulations he's been through and overcome. Plus it's going to be exciting as a football fan watching them as a team, especially if Moss joins in. That doesn't make me any less a fan than anyone else. |

You understand how he and other Falcons fans feel and you don't look down on us for it? Well thank god for that! You know how much that first sentence makes you sound like a Vick fan first and Falcons fan second. You are the "fan" I'm talking about.
What trials and tribulations did Michael Vick overcome? He went to jail for something he should have went to jail for. Most normal people when they got out wouldn't have been given a free pass back to their job. Don't spoon feed me that trial and tribulations bullshit because he hasn't gone through shit! You want to root for someone going through real trials and tribulations why don't you look at the people who bust their asses each and every day just to provide enough to keep a roof over their families heads and food on the table!? Those are real trials and tribulations bud! Not some guy completely disrespecting the game, the NFL, the Atlanta Falcons organization, his teammates, fans, and anyone else whoever rooted for the guy, only to go to jail and when he got out was given the game back to him on a silver platter. Trials and tribulations? I hope you go through some real shit one day so you actually know what trials and tribulations are. You're not a Falcons fan, you're a Vick fan. Accept it! Trials and tribulations??? LOL!

I've spent almost 2 years of my life locked up, and much longer than that in and out of the legal system. but I turned my life around and now own my own home, held down a good job for 12 years, take care of my wife and 3 kids, my sisters 3 orphaned kids and my sons half brother all of which have no father without me. I grew up on government cheese and powdered milk, had to stab one of my numerous stepfathers to keep him from beating my mother, went to around 30 schools in my life due to a drug addicted, insane mother who did things such as accusing me, at 6 years old, of stealing 20 dollars out of her purse while im sitting in front of the stove trying to stay warm because she snorted the heat bill. You need me to go on about real shit? I have stories for days about real shit my friend but thats not the point. A lot of people go through trials and tribulations and some are even brought on by themselves alot of mine included. I take full responsibility for all my actions and faults and work everyday to make amends for those. Some people will never forgive me for some of the things ive done and rightfully so. Excuse me for finding the good at the end of the story instead of continuing to dwell on the negative that is far in the past. Maybe it's you who needs to go through real trials and tribulations. |

RE: I've NEVER EVER wanted someone to get hurt but...
I don't give 2 shits about your life story. You obviously didn't take the time to go to fucking school because you don't know what a paragraph is. Don't spin that "finding good at the end of the story" web. You tried to say Michael Vick has gone through trials and tribulations when he hasn't gone through shit. For someone like you to claim you have been through trials and tribulations and to turn around and claim Vick has as well truly shows how disconnected you are from the situation.
Keep reppin your home boy Vick, your brotha. I just hope you don't tell your kids he's someone to look up to. I hope you don't use him as an example in any shape or form towards your kids unless it is what not do do and how you shouldn't look up to and praise athletes. God doesn't keep score through jail sentences he plays by his own rules. Your "hero" will get his you best believe that. Claiming Vick has been through trials and tribulations. You funny bro.

LOL you takin this a bit too serious my friend. It's all good. The god you speak of forgives you for your sanctimonious soap box finger wagging. I guess our definitions of trials and tribulations are 2 different things. Glad I don't believe in your kind of god. |

RE: I've NEVER EVER wanted someone to get hurt but...
I don't believe in God. I just assume everyone I come across does. It's easier that way.
Also if I'm taking this too serious then what would you call spilling your whole life story out in a cluttered paragraph called?

Well we agree on something. Like your avatar btw. FWIW what do you mean by "real" trials and tribulations?

RE: I've NEVER EVER wanted someone to get hurt but...
Your story is real trials and tribulations. Michael Vick's story is not real trials and tribulations. Pretty cut and dry for me. Growing up with an alcoholic drug addicted father is real trials and tribulations but I won't get into my life story on here. I don't mean to offend you so from this point forward we're cool. Vick is just a very touchy subject for me. I was his biggest fan when he came to Atlanta (I owned 3 Vick jerseys Red, White, Black). I wore the Red at least twice a week, it was a boss throwback jersey. I HATED HATED HATED him in college. Mostly because he played for VT whom I hate with a passion. I still hope we put him out of the game Week 2.
