Smuggling weed is a WHOLE lot easier than smuggling a gun in the airport. Both arent really smart given their high profile. Also weed (depending on the amount) is a lesser offense* if Im not mistaken

I get nervous driving by the airport with a gun in my car, can't fathom forgetting that its in a piece of luggage. Well, at least being water boarded in Guantanamo will give him an excuse for not showing up in 2013.

You can't forget that you packed a gun. It's not possible. I mean, who keeps a gun in luggage? Who keeps anything in luggage...except other luggage?

And in NY of all places where this is a serious as fuck charge. Plaxico did 20 months of a 3.5 year sentence for having a gun in NY. Granted he fired it, but if you look at his charges and sentence, most of his time came from just having the thing in his possession. Bowers is fucked. He's gonna do jail time and likely miss a whole season.
