What I don't understand is why it takes 20-30 years to go through with a death sentence.

Little off topic, but the wife and I watched the news last night and saw some kid killer was sentenced 20 years ago and they are finally getting around to it. I mean, it's not like there was a long line in front of him. I just don't get it.

It is because of the series of appeals and which state it is in. Could it be someone in my local area? This scumbag has been fighting it for years. Now the drugs used to put them down are no longer legal in this country. Guess where that shit came from.

I say shoot his ass while he is dangling from a rope.

something me and you agree on. I say bring back public hanging. who cares if occasionally the knot slips or the rope stretches and prolongs their suffering. dirty bastards ought to suffer at least the same amount their victims did.

as for Bowers, yeah he probably forgot he had it in his bag or thought being a ball player would get him through. as Jeff Dunhams 'Walter' would say "DUMBASS"
