Again, I put zero credence into anything that some Williams crony who gets paid by the Saints has to say. If it makes you feel better about your tainted "championship" however, knock yourself out. |

RE: Specialist said there were no bounties in 2011
This "told to stop" idea is ridiculous -- do you realize if the league knew about it, told them to stop, but didn't ensure that it stopped by fining/suspending/whatever then the league is as culpable as the Saints? There is no way the league "told them to stop" and then the Saints continued on. The best this could be is the league had no idea if it were happening or not but told them "make sure one isn't happening." And in THAT case, again the league is as culpable as the Saints management is down to the level of the persons who actually KNEW it was going on at the time -- and the only person so far (besides players) who has acknowledged that they knew about it is Gregg Williams.

RE: Specialist said there were no bounties in 2011
The league was caught wind of it and inquired about it. The Saints lied, said nothing was going on, and then covered it up. It is the GM of the Saints on down who is at fault. Williams being the mastermind, but Payton and the GM allowed it to continue.

RE: Specialist said there were no bounties in 2011
You can quote some guy who's clearly biased because he gets paid to do a job for the Saints, and continue to try and make excuses or rationalize or flat out deny wrong-doing all you want, but when Goodell comes back with fines, suspensions, cap reduction, and takes away draft picks, I assure you it's not going to be because some players got paid $500 bucks for an interception or a sack.
This "It's only about pay for performance" shit and "bounties didn't happen in 2011 so it's less of a deal than everyone is making it out to be" is laughable. You're so full of total BS denial it's pathetic. Stop with the "Oh we know they did wrong and will be punished accordingly, BUT..........." stuff. There is no "BUT....". Take your shit like a man and stop trying to add something that tries to downplay the situation. Any thing you say after "BUT...." is nothing more than blind homeristic denial-filled biased as hell bullshit and EVERYONE other than Saint's fans knows it. So the only one you're fooling is yourself. |

Once again, the only penalty that you mentioned that would be of any concern at all would be cap reductions, and I can't see that happening at all. Saints Fan Since 1967
