E.g. why or how did Drew Brees not know about this. Don't just conclude that they are taking your side and your side only. Unfortunately the NFLPA is there to represent all the NFL teams not just New Orleans. Agreeable there are certain issues that need to be verified but it is already been made clear by players coming out and speaking about this that certain things that Williams did have repeated themselves across different teams he has been at This is all true. Think for a moment outside of your fanatic homerism. If these accusations of bounty system were baseless, don't you think that Williams and Payton, with their career and honor on the line (or at least in risk of being tainted) would go on record and deny it strongly? |

Secondly, if there were any pay for players knocked out, that apparently happened prior to 2011. This is counter to what has been spread by the media as they claimed it was going on against Detroit and SF in the playoffs. What I am pointing out is that you cannot believe all of the crap you have heard about this. Yes, the Saints broke rules and should be and will be punished. But, things were not as grizzly and sinister as the media made it out to be. Saints Fan Since 1967

I don't care how you or the media perceive it. You're not changing minds here. We still have to listen to the media blab on the Vick/Petrino crap several times a year as you will to Bounty Gate this season and going forward. As least now when I'm seeing Saints coverage I won't have to listen anymore about how the Saints single handed rebuilt the city after Katrina. |

You just ignored both my questions because you have no answer for them. 1- Has GW (or Payton or Loomis) denied existence of a bounty system? 2- If the accusations were baseless how come none of those guys are denying it? |

Remember, it was Payton and Benson that requested the meeting with Goodell last week. THAT's the only person they need to deny anything to. Yet, many players have come out and admitted to pay for performance, but vehemently denied pay to injure occurred. Saints Fan Since 1967

Well, I guess that settles everything. Time to hang it up. The stains are innocent. We've got all the the proof we need right here.....
