You should just concede that u were wrong about it blowing over in a few weeks. It was just a bad assessment on your part and you shouldn't try to make excuses.

Of course I was wrong about that. But, under normal circumstances it should have been. It was a perfect storm with a man that admittedly will never back down (Goodell), a huge lawsuit against the league and a proven liar with a vendetta against the Saints.

Now, back to the subject of the thread ... signings. Matt Hasselbeck would be a good fit in New Orleans and it would help us all to keep him away from Tampa Bay. As long as he is in NOLA he would be nothing more than insurance, but he could take Freeman's job in Tampa and improve the team.

Well looks like Vance Walker is gone to the Raiders. Poor guy. I really liked him too.

Babs, Jerry, Peters, Robinson, and Regis are the DT's left. Regis likely just a PS guy again. I expect us to take a DT in the draft for sure now. Hopefully Jessie Williams.

I also think Travian Robertson is a guy that the FO likes. If he ready to be relied upon, then we may be overvaluing the need of a NT. It may not be a first round thought. Its so much time in between. Still moves that could be made.
