Just a 1 year deal. I guess TD didn't give Owens any sort of offer at all. Or perhaps TD was unwilling to promise any playing time while the Browns told him he would see a lot of snaps.

They are after Grimes too... Glad to see the rest of the league respects and covets our talent. I am interested to see who plays on the other side of Asante this year. McClain or Franks?

Franks will have a tough time making the team assuming that his days as the punt returner are probably over.

RE: Signings Around The League
This is crazy. They must be real high on Peyton Thompson or Terrence Johnson.

We're down to those 2 guys, Franks, McClain, and Asante. And I don't think they're that high on Franks any more. He's been just average at best.

Clearly, CB is going to be a high priority in the draft.

I thought for sure we'd resign Owens, but I was wrong. Looking more and more like first 3 picks will be DE, DT, CB in no particular order.

RE: Signings Around The League
As far a thin we have 3 DE on the roster and 5 CB....yet both make me EXTREMELY nervous......

I think adding Osi would at least be somewhat settling and he is out to prove everyone is wrong about him while winning a superbowl.....also no one seems interested in paying abraham.....so if he doesn't sign maybe he could come back in a rotational mode....though with the 3-4 he may not be disruptive enough......I don't know.....lots of question marks but trust TD and company....draft will be like Christmas for Nolan!!!!

RE: Signings Around The League
I have a feeling the McClain is gonna have a career year. Last year he really lit it up and basically was starter material. Now he will start and kick some ass in the process.

He better. There are no goto starter CBs in the bottom half of the first round.

Huh? This draft is crazy good with CB talent. Like the deepest in a decade.

Trufant, Banks, Poyer, Amerson all should be at the end of the first. And there's like 5 more guys who are 2nd round material.
