It was simultaneous possession. Impossible to tell who actually had the ball (meaning it goes to the offense). Sure GB had MORE ball, but Tate had the ball too... and had both hands on it, which is why the ref called TD. I mean, he had both hands on it.... how do you not say both hands is not enough? I've seen the "regular" refs make the same call many times (just not as the last play of the game).

People are making a big deal to create drama...

The review could not reverse the Ref call on possession, only whether it was caught or not. People acting like the replay would have given it to GB are wrong. The replay was not the issue. As for the "pass interference" - every Hail Mary has that kind of jockeying, and it is never called, replacements or no.

This was a judgement call, and the ref made his judgement (substantiated by the two hands on the ball, which ESPN keeps ignoring, calling it one arm). EVERY judgement call will be controversial. Nothing, including giving in to the refs (which some of their demands - not the money, but the operational ones - are ridiculous), will change that.

I saw something different on the slow-mo.

Jennings had two hands on the ball first and with control pulled it into his chest. Tate had 1 hand between the ball and Jenning's chest and when Jennings pulled it into his body, Tate's hand/arm was locked in place. Tate's right hand was moving freely until they hit the ground and THEN Tate had both hands on the ball. You can clearly see Tate adjusting his right hand after they've hit the ground, trying to get a better grip on the ball. Jennings has both hands on it, cradled in his arm, and pinned up against his body while Tate isn't even close to having that much touching the ball.

Jennings had possession first. It was not simultaneous. Both ESPN and NFLN each had a retired Ref commentator come in and both said the exact same thing, that it was actually not simultaneous and Jennings caught it fully before Tate got both hands on it. And they were right, that's exactly what I saw on the replay as well.
