I don't understand why they reviewed the fumble in our game then....because the call was already in Arizona's favor....

In this game they said once you throw the flag the team cannot benefit from a review.....what if they had seen that Arizona was OOB we would have benefited

Bottom line....they should have done what was right, the Texans STILL would have gotten an extra 15 yards from the flag....no reason to affect the possible outcome of the game on a BAD CALL!

They did not review the fumble.

This penalty has one upside. In what other way can one play make a head coach, the referees and the entire NFL itself look like a bunch of idiots? It brings the IQ level much closer to the WWF or whatever pro wrestling league is operating these days.

Well to be fair, the Calvin Johnson rule was first and most famously enforced against the Lions. Now that the "no hanky panky" rule has done its' job and lost a game for Detroit it can hopefully be put out to pasture.

I would like to point out that technically Schwartz threw the challenge flag before the touchdown was scored so he did not throw the flag after a scoring a play. He threw it during a scoring play.

Unintended consequences are a hoot! The NFL is getting very close to jumping the shark.
