As Phocis pointed out in another thread, the Saints should still be the best team in the division and I'll guarantee you that they will be playing with a chip on their shoulders this coming season.Goddell said that are still player sanctions to be handed out. There offense will still be great, but their defense, although not great last year, will be depleted. Will be even worse off since no FA will go there and Vilma will likely be suspended. I believe this is the best opportunity for the Falcons to regain the divisional crown.

We don't need a cripple Saints team for us to win the South. We needed different play calling. So freaking predictable. And then when it's something new, they would go with something like a flea flicker where Snelling gives us all the WTF face.

First, welcome to the best Falcons site on the web and one of the best in the NFL! Now on to business ... ![]() Yes, player sanctions still need to be handed out. But, have you wondered why they were not handed out at the same time? It's because the NFLPA is now involved and they don't want to see any of their players unjustly suspended. Coaches, GM's and teams have little say, but the players union carries a big stick. Expect to see fines and a few suspensions. As for no free agents going there ... DT Broderick Bunkley signed a five year deal with the Saints today AFTER the news about the penalties broke. This isn't goint to affect free agency at all. I still expect the Saints to be able to work out a deal with your own LB Curtis Lofton very soon. Not only will that confirm the fact that players still want to come to the Saints, but it will also give coverage for any loss of Vilma. Once again, welcome to the site. AFT is one of the best in the league! And Saints Fan Since 1967
