First answer: Loomis' suspension is for the first eight games of the regular season. Second question answered by the first.

Also, DT. Broderick Bunkley met with Loomis (suspended), Payton (suspended), Vitt (suspended) and Spagnolo and just signed a five year deal today. This will have no affect on a Lofton deal. Players want to play for the Saints because they know they have a very legitimate shot at a ring.
