I think you are the one that is wrong, my friend. The worst penalties possible under the bylaws have already been considered and none will come as a shock. The media has already had its circus and the rest will be anticlimactic. From what I am hearing from the players, the "locker room" has never been stronger and this is likely to bring them further together as them against the world.

Wait and see. Good news will be coming out for the Saints today.

Finally have this behind us. Now to move on. As I said, far from crumbling. Two second round picks was pretty light. While Payton will be missed, his system and all his offensive people are in place.

However, up to 20+ current players could receive suspensions, too. That shoe is still to drop.

Many of those player are on other teams now. It is the other teams that will take the hit, not the Saints. And any suspensions, if they do occur, will be staggered. I would think that fines would be more likely as not to punish other teams.
