As Phocis pointed out in another thread, the Saints should still be the best team in the division and I'll guarantee you that they will be playing with a chip on their shoulders this coming season.

I love Aerosmith! My wife and I have seen them twice, the last time on the front row of their extended stage. Steven Tyler even squirted me with his water bottle between songs. Very cool.

You had to be there.

LOL!

As a fairly old fart the classic rock groups were right in my range. I was rocking down as best I could at my 50 year old age at the time ... sweating my ass off. Tyler looked down at me, pointed, grinned and hit me with the water. I gave him two thumbs up and he gave one back.

I know, some may not understand, but it meant a lot to me and my wife at the time. And it still does.

I'm enjoying seeing the Saints crumble, it is even more fun seeing lame Saints fans try and defend them all over the internet. Anytime a Saints fan makes an excuse for the team I smile cause it just show how pathetic and in denial they are. There whole fanbase is going to suffer when the sanctions come down on them.

I think the sanctions will be more than Saints fans want, but less than what everybody else wants.

RE: Saints World Crumbling
“This is a seminal moment in the culture change we have to make,” a source close to Goodell said. “This has to stop now. Every team needs to hear the message that we’re in a different era now, where this appalling behavior is going to end.”

And where is Drew Brees in all of this Kyle Turley asks. He makes a good point.

“I would like to know personally what (Brees) knew about this bounty system because he’s not only in charge of the safety of his players in that locker room in New Orleans, he’s supposed to be in those meetings responsible for players across the league as it pertains to those types of situations,’’ Turley said. “That’s what I would like to know. Where has the union been in all of this and that’s what really needs to be found out.’’

RE: Saints World Crumbling
I think Saints are too good to crumble as a result of this but they will be affected. There are many ways in which this scandal will affect them.

One thing nobody is mentioning is that this scandal put a bullseye sign on Brees' back. Players will want to get back at Saints but also at Brees for his hypocrisy at his capacity as players' rep. The saints better sign Nicks because defensive players will be after Brees. You can bet Nicks has become more expensive for them as a result of this mess.
