There can't be perjury if there wasn't a bounty program. I can't wait for Freehs' investigation results. I have a feeling that Mr. Goodell isn't looking forward to the same.

Any credibility he thought he had is gone, he's reduced to the only thing he really knows, troll and snipe. In other words, typical Saints troll, albeit a cowardly one. Not cowardly at all. I am just swamped with a major upgrade at one of my positions while preparing for another major conversion at another. I hate it when work gets in the way of my passion for Saints football. By the way, look at what my wife picked up at an estate sale this weekend. A George Rodrigue's Ain't Dat Super print. #519 of 5000. He sold out within days when they went on sale from his gallery back in 2010 at $500 a piece. It is hanging right above my PC right now.

RE: Saints Bounty Thread
If you pay Freehs' Associates to find you innocent what will the finding show? However the aints are just trying to win the sympathy of the public.
The ultimate judge, no matter how you like it is Roger Goodell because it is in the new CBA. I love the Falcons and to hell with anyone who doesn't! |

When Benson hired the firm to investigate he had to have totally trusted all of his people and knew that what was portrayed was blatantly false. He is not one of the richest men in the country by making ill-informed decisions. He knows his brand has been tarnished and must know for a fact that there are major problems involving that tarnish. Goodell and the NFL have repeatedly presented faulty support for their accusations. ESPN presented a totally unsupported story claiming wiretapping that is also being investigated by Freehs firm. I have a feeling that you will be disappointed in the next Freehs' findings. Saints Fan Since 1967

No, Benson is paying the Freehs' Agency to find the truth because he knows what the truth is. IF there were truly bounties on opposing players why would Vilma and Vitt expose themselves to federal perjury charges by submitting false affidavits stating that they didn't exist? IF there were truly bounties on opposing players why didn't everyone with a leg to stand on just take the prudent course and take the punishment and get it over with? IF there were truly bounties on opposing players why has Goodell not shared a shred of substantial proof? I can understand your hatred of the Saints and your wishes that these far flung accusations were true, but the tables could have been easily turned and it very well could have been the Falcons in this same quandary. All it takes is a couple of individuals with an agenda against your franchise and a headstrong individual looking to find a scapegoat to fend off major mistakes of judgement in the recent past. RE: Saints Bounty Thread
There is no evidence that would debunk the bounty claim.
