Dave Archer was also saying on 790 this week that even if/when the Brees deal gets done, they will be way over the cap. Mike Bell of course made a big deal about it too. Laughning that they'll have to cut people because of Brees greediness. And that this wouldn't go over well in the locker room. Mike Bell is a clown, but he's sorta right. Archer actually agreed with him too.

well, my guess is that since this is going to be the only place we're going to allow bountygate discussions, that it will need to stay open until the law suits are thrown out or settled, why would you suggest locking it?

Not locking it. People want to discuss or rag on about it, evidence being that people kept posting here nearly a month after Guido had quit posting. Don't want to read his responses to it, don't come to the thread.

I agree...it's not difficult to ignore. Most of us are guilty of reading his stuff bc it is truly entertaining. It has nothing to do with intelligence. Also some of us seem to have thicker skin than others. He's a fan of the Saints....what do y'all expect him to do?

Troll or not this guy is hilarious to me. I don't think I'm laughing with him tho. I'm laughing at him. We all should. The other Saints fan Yodi10101 or whatever his name is has left the building.

I watch too many games in sports bars not to enjoy a ridiculous argument with a fan of another team. I actually like talking smack with other fan bases, and making them cry with our play on the field! And then buying them a beer and talking positively about their future (even if I have to lie) afterwards.

on a side note, and not trying to hijack the thread, his faithful sidekick chipped in a post to welcome The Falcon Jedi back, how funny is that! i'm with you though, that part about laughing AT him, not with him.

anyone know if there is there anything new on the lawsuit front? i haven't seen anything new in the news about it lately
