The league said Williams admitted there was a bounty program, that Williams, Vitt and some players "voluntarily" funded it and it was spearheaded by Williams. Williams started the program upon his arrival in 2009 and pushed it through to players after consulting with defensive captains Smith and Vilma, who, the league said, also contributed "seed" money to get the bounty pot in place.

Williams, who was banned by the league indefinitely for his actions, was such a cooperative witness that he told the NFL he was "rolling the dice with player safety and someone could have been maimed."

"The league noted that while players might not have targeted opponents for illegal hits, they funded and pledged to reward teammates for injuring players."

This is what I have been saying the whole time. Tge NFL must be reading these forums...lol

Reading the NFL-Released evidence is great... even though it's tainted, the look inside an NFL team meeting, and looking at how they scouted teams (including the Falcons) is something I'm enjoying.

So... does "Scuba" on long drives if you need to" mean they planned to 'take a dive' against our no-huddle? ROFL

Guilty fuckers. We tried to warn Guido. I bet he STILL is denying it all. *sigh*

RE: Saints Bounty Thread
I wouldn't expect too much. Even if Vilma and the others came out tomorrow admitting their full involvement with pictures, video, fully documented bank records and all the bounty from Al Capone's empty vault, Guido, after giving a lame excuse as to his recent absence, would just follow up with something along the lines of "I was just asking 'what if' as any good journalist would do", and as proof he would cherry pick a quote from one of his own posts where he asked 'Isn't it possible that...' then act like that was the tone of his every statement, incredulous that anyone would question his integrity then finally hijack Beef's statements saying something about how he is using logical inference. In short, he will regurgitate crap just as he has been doing since day 1.

Maybe some of you guys have been luckier than me but I have never met a Saints fan I could trust or that I could even like. They were the ones who rode the short bus and licked the windows.

I love the Falcons and to hell with anyone who doesn't!

What's funny is that a month or so ago I met a Saints fan in a bar and we actually had a decent chat. Of course he thought the punishment was too harsh but he also said where there's smoke there's fire. I told him about Guido on here and he laughed and said something along the lines of "Every fanbase has it's nuts".
