where did Chase play college ball, wasn't it MO???? so curtis still got some memories of NFL AND college rivalries in the back of his mind? that is TOO FUNNY! seems funny to me tho, lofton couldn't get to a qb all that well when he played here, would be funny as hell if he took him out for us now, in practice no less

It was Mizzou, and he was a friggin' stud in college. Not prototypical, but then, neither is Brees.

I don't think Chase Daniel at QB would be nearly as much of a problem as Brees, but I also don't think he'd be the cake walk some folks seem to think, either. He's fundamentally a solid QB.

Chase has a tremendous arm. The accuracy isn't all the way there tho. He doesn't do that well woth pressure either, but I agree that he will not be a cakewalk

So Guido... I guess that kills your theory on Hummel resigning in disgust over Goodell's abuse of power with the Aints. Seems he was the one pushing for punishment before he left. No need to apologize for being wrong on this one thing... you can save it all for one big apology at the end.

Why would he need to encourage them to answer questions truthfully if there isn't anything to lie about?

And yes why would Hummell stay on through the Saints probe if he was disgusted with it or trying to save himself?

Arbitrator Shyam Das has ruled in the NFL's favor and dismissed the NFL Players Association's grievance in the bounty case against four New Orleans Saints players, league spokesman Greg Aiello tweeted Friday.

The union had filed a grievance with Das, contending the new collective bargaining agreement prohibits commissioner Roger Goodell from punishing players for any conduct before it was signed last August. The league's investigation showed the bounty program ran from 2009-11.

Goodell suspended Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma for the entire 2012 season and teammate Will Smith for four games. Former Saints defensive end Anthony Hargrove, now with Green Bay, was suspended for eight games, while linebacker Scott Fujita, now with Cleveland, was docked three games.
