Things are going to be real dicey for Roger. You note that this suit is not NFLPA v. NFL. It is Vilma v. Goodell. The NFL may be inclined to stay hands off to be assured that they do not become liable themselves.

Also, as a lawsuit between individuals it cannot fall under CBA protection.
