First of all, you're just NEVER going to be able to distance yourself from the guy when there's a freaking book written by your coach openly acknowledging him as a close friend and great asset to the team.

Second, you don't get to flip so easily on the guy from unbelievable to absolutely believable in an instant. If you don't see the ridiculous quandary in that, then you're a buffoon and need to try a different spin tactic.

That in no way lessens the fact that the PS in that email was a joke. And, no, the Saints can never distance themselves from him. He is now an ex-con, but was a hanger on during the Super Bowl season.
