He is basing a large part of his punishment on that email. But, now that it has become public domain it is being questioned BIGTIME as viable evidence of anything.I haven't heard much from Goodell sir. Most of the things I have heard was from the media but even when the email first came out I didn't hear that much about it. So I don't know where u r getting infor that Goodell was trying to beat this email across everybody's head. I think that you tried to rationalize this sooooo much since it first came out that you read multiple picayune articles with Goodell statements and its all running together so u believe he has pushed this email. I have barely heard Goodell saying ANYTHING publicly since this whole thing started. I think he did one maybe two interviews this whole time. |

RE: Saints Bounty Thread
Phocis, I already told you that regardless of the results he will believe that this whole thing was a farce. He made this clear when he said "Innocent people have been found guilty before." At this point he will NEVER complete the final stage of grief, Acceptance. He will never accept this for the rest of his life.
It's really sad because he picks lil things he that he feels he can spin and ignores thing that he can't. Throughout the previous thread and this one he has done that on multiple occasions. Then when someone calls him out on it, then he has an excuse or never answers it and just mocks the poster. Another thing he does when he can't spin something is answers in an ignorant way. I will quote a similar response. If I ask Guido what's the purpose of the declaration, then instead of answering the question he would say..... "It still doesn't mention anything about a pay for injury program" He basically defers back to his original stance without answering the question. The more we talk about it the worst your "game" gets. The argument isn't even worth it at this point because regardless of the final outcome he will never agree with the NFL's stance on this. So to whom this may apply, we should just stop trying to talk sense into him. Nothing will save him at this point. From now on I'm only responding to clear up a stupid question or my stance. |

I know you refuse all sources, but have you gotten some info to disprove your own coach's words yet? Payton never admitted that the reference was to a bounty program that the Saints were running. That is one of those incorrect assumption that surfaced on talk radio and was assumed to be fact. And the presence of a bounty program has been denied. Saints Fan Since 1967

Beside that, you don't get to just blanket discredit all talk-radio as if it's nothing but insubstantial content. We have some of the best in this country here in Atlanta radio and only a complete ignorant imbicile would accuse them of being lazy hacks who aren't smart enough to do research and form quality educated analysis and opinions. Oh, I am so sure that Atlanta talk show hosts are going to be objective on the subject. I had hoped you were at least listening to a national show. Talk show spoon feed their listeners with what they want to hear. It is all based upon ratings in radio. If you are trying to pass that off as real information then you are just sad and pathetic, yourself. My gawd! Talk radio! Unbelievable.

RE: Saints Bounty Thread
Pat Y states this VERY CLEARLY FOR YOU.
Quote:Bradley Handwerger writes that the NFL should show all its evidence related to the Saints’ bounty program. Fans have been screaming for more evidence after the team was hit hard by suspensions of coaches and players. I understand the frustration and I also would like to see more evidence. But the fact is, this isn’t a court of law. The NFL isn’t required to show all its evidence. If grievances, appeals or lawsuits (or some combination of the three) can get this situation into a court of law, that’s the only way we’re going to see all of the NFL’s evidence.http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcsouth/post/_/...-south-296

And you don't think the national media or your NO media doesn't spoon-feed their audience with exactly what they want to hear and exactly what sells? Get the fuck outta here. Print media and TV is 1000% more full of shit than radio ever could be. You're sounding even more dumb by trying to act like that isn't the case and radio is somehow a joke. There's a freaking reason print media is dying and every national media outlet, including ESPN, NFLN, and every major sporting news has it's own radio station with tons of pure radio hosts. I never said I only listen to Atlanta radio anyways. You berated Atlanta radio and I simply defended them. I have Sirius and HD and spend at least 3 hours in my car every day listening to them all. I probably get more timely and accurate information than you do. Remember, it was YOU who didn't even realize Hargrove stated in his declaration that he was told to "just play dumb". You thought that was something someone else just wrote in the title caption. And I had to set you straight on it. You can't even get something like that correct, I wonder how much other BS you've said that was wrong because you can't read and comprehend your shitty print sources. How anyone doesn't realize how big of an actual troll you really are is amazing. |

The idea that the charges against the Saints could be unwarranted and the penalties against them unjustified makes it all that much sweeter. |
