He said there was no way he would pony up $5000 even if he had it. I'll try to find that interview. Regardless, he was in prison. He couldn't even contact the coaches directly via email. How was he going to hand over $5000? If he did it electronically there would be all types of money trail right? That would have been a thousand times more damning than a PS in an email, right? Face it. There is nothing there in the email. Goodell got way too far into this thinking he had proof but is quickly coming to the realization that he doesn't have what he thought and has gone too far to back off now. Saints Fan Since 1967
