The horrible Saints still have bounties to injure the quarterbacks. How could they keep this up after being disciplined so severely? They must be an awful club.[/sarcasm] You are smarter than that, phocis, or at least I have always thought you were. Saints Fan Since 1967

RE: Saints Bounty Thread
It possible that this has been looming over Garrets head this year? Maybe Payton suspended from the Saints, but already dabbling in the Cowboys.

RE: Saints Bounty Thread
Nothing here.
JayGlazer A Tweet by @JayGlazer 2012-11-04 Sean Payton told me he "absolutely plans on staying with the Saints. I obviously love working with Mickey (Loomis) and the Benson family. This is not something that just came about." Sean said his last contract extension was never accepted by league and they've been on it for over a year. Saints Fan Since 1967

RE: Saints Bounty Thread
Saints fans always in denial, Jones is going to give paytom 15 million a year and Payton is going to say thank you and leave The Saints. Payton is a slime ball and will take the highest offer.

Peyton has said time and time again he will be a Saint next year. There is a 0.0000% chance he goes elsewhere (especially Dallas)

The sticking point in his contract that the league didn't like was that if Mickey Loomis lost his position then it voids Payton's contract. Loomis is not only GM for the Saints, he is also GM for the Hornets. He isn't going anywhere and neither is Payton. All a bunch of meaningless hype. Saints Fan Since 1967

He has an extremely tight relationship with Jerry Jones (no glory hole) and Payton was the reason Tony Romo was found. If there was ANY miniscule chance that he would go somewhere, then it would definitely be Dallas. |

The saints would have to be complete idiots to let Payton get away. I'm all for them bringing back Bum Phillips or Ditka but it's not happening.
